Dear Fellow Devotee,
 
As you may already know, for the next few days, we have several auspicious functions coming up. Following are details of these ceremonies.
 
Jan 29th (Friday) is full moon day and so we will have SRI SATYANARANA VRATAM on that day at 6:30 PM. If you like to sponsor, please contact our priest and bring fruits, flowers, prasadam, coconut, some chandan and some dates. If you contact our priest, he will provide you with the exact list of items and amounts to bring.
 
Jan 30th (Saturday) is THAI POOSAM and we have attached a brochure explaining the importance of this day and also the program we have scheduled for that day. It is a very auspicious and special day for LORD MURUGAN (KARTIKEYA) and we have a unique function planned, so we hope many of you can participate in this celebration.

The Program for Thai Poosam:

10.00 AM. Kalasa archana
10.30 AM  Pal kuddam (Milk pots for abishekam) and Kavadi inside the temple
11.00 AM  Abishekam for Lord Muruga
12.00 Noon Deeparadhana

Also on Jan 30th (Saturday) from 10 Am till 12 noon, West Michigan Bengali community will be performing a special SARASWATI DEVI puja. As all of you know, SARASWATI DEVI is Goddess of education and learning and so this will be very good one to bring all your children and have them receive blessings of SARASWATI DEVI. Even though the Bengali community will be performing this puja, all our devotees are welcome to participate in this once a year ceremony.  
 
We want to make sure you reserve the date February 12th because that is MAHA SHIV RATHRI and our Temple will have a full program for that evening. We will send the exact program details real soon.
 
Again as mentioned earlier, we hope many of you can come and join us for many of these special pujas and ceremonies.
