Ugadi & Sri Ram Navami Celebrations:

Dear Fellow Devotee.

As you already know, March 16th is UGADI, the first day of the new year for many Indian communities like Kashmiris, Kannadas, Marathis and Telugus. We have a special program planned for 16th and the program starts sharply at 6 PM with Sri Maha Lakshmi's abhishekam. After the abhishekam, since it is a custom for all of us to wear new clothes, even Sri Maha Lakshmi will be adorned with a new saree and some new ornaments (abharanas). A brief description of UGADI and the program for 16th is detailed in the attached flyer (click here).

One special and unique event for this evening is PANCHANGA SRAVANAM and RASI PHALAM. Our Pandit Srinivasacharyaji will read from the new year's panchangam, our fortune for the next year. This is based on the birth star. So in case you do not know your birth star, try to find it before you come that evening.

This event is being coordinated by Gopi Garigipati, Praduman Tickoo, Swati Deshpande and Ravi Vamsi. If you have any questions or want to sponsor any of the programs please contact any one of them or any of the board members.

Also as all of you know, March 24th is Sri Ram Navami. Also March 24th is Sri Shirdi Sai Baba's birthday. So we have some major functions planned for March 24th and we will also extend the celebrations to March 27th and 28th (Sarurday and Sunday). Please see the attached flyers for details (click here). Mean while mark your calender and come and celebrate all these festivals with us at the Temple.

By the way, we want to inform you that there will be a special UGADI sale of art work, photo frames and gems by Sai art gallery & Lakshmi gems on March 16th evening from 6 PM at the community center.

See you all on Ugadi day.
SARVE JANA SUKHINO BHAVANTHU.
