MANDALA POOJA CONCLUSION CEREMONY - NOVEMBER 1-2, 2008

 

SAVE THESE DATES FOR SPECIAL MANDAL PUJA CONCLUSION CEREMONIES: SATURDAY NOVEMBER 1ST AND SUNDAY 2ND 2008.

 

MANDAL PUJA CONCLUSION CEREMONIES will be held on 1st and 2nd November, 2008. We want to thank all of you for participating during September Prana Prathishta and 48 days of Mandal puja celebrations. Mandala Pujas and Abhishekams are very special and according to our Vedas these concluding Pujas, Homas and Rituals will enhance the powers of God residing in our temple and by attending the Pujas and the concluding ceremonies will receive special blessings. This Puja, Homas are also for Corrections of any accidental wrong doings during these 48days ceremonies so that these rituals will provide more mystic powers to Gods and make the temple a sanctified place to attain inner peace. Please join us in participating in these holy ceremonies.

 

THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR ANY PUJAS, PLEASE COME AND BRING YOUR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS.

4. PUNYAHAVACHANAM: Purificatory rite to achieve purity of body, mind and the equipment used in the rituals.

5. DEVATA ANUGYA- taking permission from all the Gods to complete the Mandala Pooja

6. Acharya Ruthvig Varuna- Assigning priests to complete the Mandala Pooja

7. Ganapati Homa (open to public)

SEPTEMBER 15, 2008 - NOVEMBER 1, 2008

MANDALA POOJAS -

 

The Mandala Abhishekams have started on September 15th, 2008 for the new Deities at the Temple.  Abhishekam will be performed every day for the next forty eight days (until November 1, 2008) for Lakshmi Narashima and Shiv Linga.

 

Following are some of the details about the Mandala Pooja:

 

MONDAY Thru FRIDAY -

1. 10.00 AM Suprabhatam
2. 11.00 AM Abhishekam for Lakshmi Narashima

3. 7.30 PM Shiv Linga Abishekam followed by Mangala Aarti.

 

SATURDAY and SUNDAY -

1. 10.00 AM Suprabhatam
2. 11.00 AM Abhishekam for Lakshmi Narashima

3. 11.00 AM Shiv Linga Abishekam followed by Mangala Aarti.


You may become a sponsor for a day of your choice for $101. All abhishekams and archanas for that day will be done on the sponsor's name. If in case there is more than one sponsor on any given day, Pandithji will perform all the puja for that day on behalf of the sponsors.


If you are a sponsor, please bring two Half gallon of milk, two small bottles of rose water and some fruits and flowers. If you like to bring some prasadam, please bring it in the evening.

 

While it is not necessary for the sponsor to be present through out the day, we do recommend that the sponsor to come at least in the evening prior to Mangala Arati and witness the poojas.
